Dec. 22nd & 29th - no meetings - it is like a HOLIDAY - Hey, it is a Holiday;
The 10:00 A.M. December 10th Brunch was a very fine event. President Jeff welcomed some 35 people into quite a packed side room at the Seven Oaks All Day Eatery for the 2022 Christmas Rotary Family Brunch. The atmosphere was festive; the site was ideal for our size; attendees brought "gifts of warmth" for the Canadian Mental Health Association - Regina Branch Christmas Celebration; the staff were focused and effective (those last getting to eat may have a different impression; and, noise level in the room suggested there was appreciated shared conversation.
President Jeff made it clear that the program would be restricted to introduction of those in attendance, into which we all had a part. He expressed appreciation for the Gifts of Warmth, which would be delivered to the CMHA - Regina Branch.
It was a wonderful time of togetherness. It reflected the Season's focus, where "peace and goodwill" to all is a cornerstone and serves as a pillar on which Rotary was founded.

Zambia’s government is undertaking an ambitious new plan to make malaria testing and treatment more accessible by saturating the country with 36,000 community health workers, about one for every 500 Zambians. The national strategy is getting a boost from Partners for a Malaria-Free Zambia, an initiative founded and led by Rotary members. The initiative was the first recipient of Rotary’s $2 million Programs of Scale grant. Learn more about the initiative and the people behind it.
